After years of managing the communications department at Bank Vontobel, Reto Giudicetti has found a new job. And it promises to be equally challenging as the one at the private bank.

Reto Giudicetti (picture) was the calm voice of a bank in troubled waters - impersonating the institute in the Hoeness case and the controversy surrounding Raiffeisen. After seven years impressing at the helm of communications at Vontobel he surprised with his announcement in March that he would leave the Zurich-based institute - finews.ch reported.

Giudicetti has found a new job, finews.ch can reveal. The communications expert on October 1, 2015 will start as head of corporate communcations at Renova Management. The company is the Swiss-based holding group of Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg, managing stakes in Sulzer, Oerlikon and Schmolz + Bickenbach (amongst others). Giudicetti confirmed this information when asked by finews.ch.

Illustrious Board of Directors

The head of communications reports directly to Chief Executive Officer Peter Löscher, the former Siemens boss. The main task of Giudicetti is to make corporate communications more professional and to position the company as a competence center for stakeholdings. Incidentally, Joe Ackermann, the former head of Deutsche Bank is also member of the Renova Management board.

Before his job at Vontobel Giudicetti worked for the Credit Suisse unit Bank Leu and for Credit Suisse.
