Credit Suisse hired an executive from Cembra Money Bank as its new chief financial officer for the Swiss unit.

Antoine Boublil (pictured), chief financial officer (CFO) and member of the board at Cembra Money Bank decided to leave the company, Cembra said in a statement on Tuesday. The financial services company in Switzerland is mainly active in selling consumer credits.

The departing executive will assume the position of CFO at the Swiss Universal Bank of Credit Suisse, as one of CEO Thomas Gottstein's closest managers. Swiss Universal Bank is the unit Credit Suisse plans to list separately on the exchange in 2016.

Boublil won't leave Cembra Money Bank before May 2016, providing a smooth transition period, the bank said. The executive was at the institute for four years, helping list the bank on the Swiss exchange in the autumn of 2013.

Before Credit Suisse changed its structure last October, Iqbal Khan was CFO under Hans-Ulrich Meister. Following the strategy change, he assumed the role of CEO of the newly created International Wealth Management division.
