Banque Cramer has elected two new members of the board, one of which with a long history at UBS, the other at Vontobel.

Shareholders at Banque Cramer, the private bank based in Geneva which sponsors Swiss tennis pro Timea Bacsinszky, elected Michel Ehrenhold and Manuel Leuthold to the board of the institute, the bank said in a statement on Monday.

Michel Ehrenhold 160Ehrenhold (pictured left) is general secretary at Norinvest, a Geneva-based investment company, which also owns Banque Cramer. The lawyer last was nine years at Bank Vontobel in the Corporate Finance unit.

Leuthold is chairman of Compenswiss, which is in charge of investing the assets of the public social security funds. He also is chairman of «Développement Economique – Canton de Vaud», which works to attract companies to invest in the region in and around Lausanne.

The lawyer and economist for four years managed the operative business of Banque Edmond de Rothschild. He started his career at UBS, staying for a total of 27 years at Switzerland's No. 1 bank. He was head of the business with corporate customers, before Christine Novakovic took over in 2011.

Christian Buehlmann has left the board of Cramer, having joined in 2012.
