Alfred W. Moeckli (picture) has decided to take up a new professional challenge, as announced on Thursday. Moeckli is going to act as the new CEO at Liechtenstein-based VP Bank from May 2013 onwards.

«VP Bank has a solid foundation, a balanced international presence and competent staff. I am happy to be able to contribute to the future of this traditional bank actively», Moeckli commented his move.

VP Bank without CEO for a long time

After Roger H. Hartmann had finished his work as a CEO, Siegbert Naescher, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Juerg W. Sturzenegger, Chief Operating Officer (COO), had managed VP Bank for the interim period.

At Bank Zweiplus Moeckli is going to be replaced in an interim period by Markus Aisslinger, who has been working as CFO and head of the corporate center.

Directions set

Bank Zweiplus feels regretful about Moeckli's departure – which came as a rather surprising decision. He has been very important during the last two years, for re-positioning Bank Zweiplus as an independent product- and handling platform for financial service providers, asset managers and insurance companies.

Moecklis interim-successor Markus Aisslinger is 46 years old. He has been working for Bank Zweiplus for two years. Before he work in leading positions at UBS and Bank Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie (Switzerland).
