Following a change in the system for pension provisions, the U.K. has become attractive for smaller Swiss wealth managers. Addvision Wealth Manager is the latest to receive a licence by the British authorities.

The Geneva-based wealth manager is about to establish a presence in the U.K. It has hired Edward Smith as director, charged with the task to start the business in London, according to a report by «Citywire».

Addvision recently received its licence from the Financial Conduct Authority, the U.K.'s regulatory body, according to the report. Two former bankers at Lombard Odier, John Burke and Amedeo Serra, founded Addvision in 2004.

The company is offering its services to private clients, institutional investors, advises family offices and constructs portfolios of exchange traded funds.
