The Geneva-based private bank appointed a Coutts manager as new head of its London branch. The incumbent boss is returning to Switzerland.

Lombard Odier appointed Duncan MacIntyre (pictured) as its new head at the London branch, the private bank said in statement on Monday. He will start his job at the beginning of 2016 and report to Henry Fischel-Bock, head of Domestic European Private Client business.

The appointment of MacIntyre is «a commitment to our U.K. presence and part of our plans to expand our services and offer,» said Fischel-Bock in the statement. «London, more than ever, remains a strategic priority for the Lombard Odier Group.»

Current Head Returns to Switzerland

McIntyre was global head of Coutts Private Office and member of the bank's executive committee. He previously worked at J.P. Morgan and Robert Fleming.

McIntyre replaces Dominic Tremlett, who will relocate to Switzerland after three years at the helm in London. Tremlett was put in charge of London to solve structural problems at the branch, as finews.ch previously reported. He will focus on the further development of Lombard Odier's private client franchise, the bank said.
