With so many online possibilities for investing one's wealth, Alpian’s CEO Schuyler Weiss spoke to finews.tv about what makes Alpian stand apart from banking apps and self-trading platforms on the Swiss market.

Geneva-based private bank Alpian is approaching its first anniversary since its launch in October. The digital bank saw an increase in inflows during Credit Suisse’s bank run and is aiming to book hundreds of millions of Swiss francs by the end of the year, Alpian CEO Schuyler Weiss, told finews.tv in an interview.

Many of Alpian’s clients are forty-somethings that appreciate the bank’s purely digital offering, along with the possibility to contact private bankers via an online communication channel.

The digital bank is targeting affluent clients with a net worth of around 100,000 Swiss francs into the low millions. It will however also invest for clients with as little as 10,000 Swiss francs if that's the amount they want to begin investing, with the hope of expanding their wealth over time.
