Wealthy clients in the US are an important market for Vontobel, which is why it recently took over a slice of UBS's business with wealthy North Americans.
Peter Romanzina who heads Swiss Financial Advisors talked to finews.tv about the concerns of rich US clients and ways they can diversify their wealth to include investments in Switzerland.
Since the closing of its deal with UBS, the Zurich-based investment house is the biggest Swiss player catering to this segment and holds over $10 billion on behalf of US clients in Switzerland. Romanzina also told finews.tv where Vontobel plans to expand in this market.
