In early March 2024, Florian Schwab started work at finews.ch and finews.com as a Publishing Director, a newly created role. Before assuming his current position, the 37-year-old economist spent over ten years with Weltwoche Verlags AG, first as an economics editor before going on to subsequently lead the commercial team.

During that time, he oversaw the overhaul of the digital presence of «Die Weltwoche» and was key in the strategic drive to enter the German media market. Additionally, he expanded the renowned Swiss weekly newspaper's supplements, including a successful relaunch of the lifestyle section «WW Magazin» in 2021.

Growth Upgrade
