As the consulting firm looks back on considerable growth last year. This is also reflected in the personnel, where Deloitte has created several hundred jobs in Switzerland.

According to a statement Wednesday, Deloitte Switzerland achieved net revenues of 597.2 million Swiss francs ($669.1 million) in the financial year ending in May, corresponding to 9.7 percent growth.

The company said it created over 300 new jobs and describes itself as the largest of the Big Four consulting firms in Switzerland, ahead of Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC). Last year, it had 2,727 employees, of which 2,049 were in Zurich and 450 in Geneva, with the rest spread out between Basel, Bern, and Lugano.

Financial Services is the Biggest Sector

The consultancy, led by CEO Reto Savoia, grew in all business areas in the past business year. Among the companies served, banks and insurance companies remain the most important sector, followed by life sciences and healthcare. 

In addition, Deloitte was also able to expand its presence in the energy and industrial sectors and the retail and consumer goods industries and support public sector authorities and organizations.
