The first conference on crypto currencies and Blockchain technology in Zurich aims high. First-class speakers will discuss nothing less but the revolution of the financial system.

The «Finance 2.0 Crypto» conference will take place on Wednesday, September 23, at the EWZ-Unterwerk Selnau venue in Zurich. The title leaves no room for doubt: Are crypto currencies and Blockchain the start of a revolution?

The list of speakers and participants leaves nothing to be desired: Alex Batlin, head of Level 39, the UBS fintech laboratory in London; Vitalik Buterin, fintech's 21-year old child prodigy; Johann Greves, CEO Monetas; Guido Rudolphi, bitcoin bank founder; Andre Martchouk, founder and chief executive of Yacuna; Niklas Nikolajsen, head of Bitcoin Suisse; Paolo Tasca, an economist at Deutsche Bank.

Reality Check

Tasca promises to deliver a reality check of the bitcoin hype and an analysis of the economy of the currency. The conference, which was organised by Rino Borini, will not just deliver scenarios of what might be, but also attempt to balance the high-flying dreams with a sense realism.

Still: the conference promises to satisfy the demand to learn about how crypto finance might change the world.
