Renowned journalist Katharina Bart, who has written for Reuters, Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, is joining finews.ch as a senior contributor.
Katharina Bart, who joined finews.ch mid-May, will reinforce both the English- and German-language editorial team of finews.ch as well as write for the Asia-based site, finews.asia.
She is a dual Swiss-American citizen with 15 years experience as a journalist, most recently as chief correspondent for Reuters in Zurich. Prior to that, she wrote for Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal from 2003 to 2011.

After studies in journalism and communications at Grand Valley State University in Michigan and the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, Katharina worked for Zurich Financial Services (ZFS), Rieter AG and Friedli Corporate Finance.
Katharina's hiring marks a further committment to quality journalism at finews.ch and underscores our desire to expand the English-language coverage, after former Bloomberg journalist Andreas Britt joined the news team in September.
