Generali Switzerland signed an agreement with a Swiss private bank in a bid to expand its offering of pension plans. The bank has a specialized settlement platform for investment and private pension products.

Generali Group in Switzerland signed an agreement with Lienhardt & Partner, a Zurich-based private bank, the company said in a statement today. Under the terms of the agreement, Generali offer provide insurance, private pensions and pension plans.

The insurer will begin its offering with the Prospera products, which were developed in cooperation with Fortuna Investment.

Provider of Banking Platform

Generali and Fortuna will develop the products, acquire the customers and provide the customer care, while Lienhardt & Partner will be responsible for the specialized banking platform, according to the agreement.

The products will be sold under Generali brand name.
