The founder of the World Economic Forum puts an end to speculation about this year's meeting being moved to another location.

The annual world economic forum meeting, which was postponed earlier this week, will remain in Davos, Switzerland - its host and founder Klaus Schwab told «Blick» (behind paywall, in German) in an interview Wednesday.

The gathering of key policymakers, business figures, politicians, and celebrities will not take place in Singapore, Schwab told the newspaper.

The summit was delayed due to Switzerland's high coronavirus infection rates and current travel restrictions.
