A digital platform for sustainable investments is enlisting a Swiss private banking veteran as its new investment chief.

Radicant is hiring Jan Amrit Poser as its chief investment officer, effective February 1, the Zurich-based start-up said in a statement on Tuesday. Poser was most recently chief strategist and head of sustainability at J. Safra Sarasin.

Backed by Basellandschaftlichen Kantonalbank, Radicant has big plans: it began applying for a banking license last June and said it continues to expand.

Poser, who spent the last 21 years at the Swiss-Brazilian private bank, is the second high-profile hire in recent months, after Michal Bialer as product chief last fall.
