Previously Swissquote clients could not make payments via their smartphones. As of today, they can.
Private clients using Swissquote's trading platform can now make payments using the popular Twint app, and marks another milestone on its path to becoming a universal bank, Swissquote said in a statement on Tuesday.
Leading Payment App
Twint is the leading payment app in Switzerland with some four million active users and will be free of charge to all private Swissquote clients and eTrading account holders. With more than four million active users, Twint is the leading payment app in Switzerland, it said. Users can make payments conveniently and securely via smartphone.
