Following its latest funding round, investment firm and fintech platform Stabletonadded threeitions to its top management team.

Zug and Zurich-based Swiss fintech Stableton has promoted Roman Loosli to the post of chief technology officer (CTO), named Christian Schmid (pictured below) as head of investments, and Freddie Cunningham as a chief commercial officer (bottom photo) to the company's senior management team, the company announced Thursday.

In his new role as CTO, Loosli is responsible for data, software engineering, security, and technology research. A former blockchain consultant and CTO of a fintech startup, Loosli joined Stableton in November 2020 as a solution architect before serving as head of data & solution architecture.

New Responsibilities

Schmid continues to be responsible for Stableton's investment activities, with a particular focus on privately held growth companies. He joined Stableton last year as head of investments from Unigestion's direct private equity team. Before that, he was a private equity consultant worked for the consulting firm Roland Berger.

As the new chief commercial officer, Cunningham is responsible for global sales, distribution, and customer service activities. He joined the firm last year as head of sales, having previously spent twelve years at Bloomberg. He also continues to be an active angel investor in several fintech companies.

TX Group Funds Growth

The appointments expand Stableton's management team following the 15 million Swiss francs ($15.4 million) Series A funding round in July led by TX Ventures, the venture capital investment arm of Swiss media company TX Group, as also reported by finews.com.
