Bank CIC is launching a new hybrid product designed to combine the traditional aspects of Swiss banking with modern digital solutions.

In launching its new digital product CIC ON, Bank CIC, a subsidiary of the French group Crédit Mutuels offers a hybrid product to bring traditional banking into the digital age, the institution announced Tuesday.

With CIC ON, a client can open a banking relationship within minutes, access an array of banking data, create topic-specific accounts and also receive personalized advice on complex topics. Bank CIC is no recent newcomer to the banking world, having been established in Basel by entrepreneurs to meet the financial requirements of that sector. Since that beginning, Bank CIC is now present in ten locations with over 430 employees.

New Swiss Banking

CIC ON is based on the «new Swiss banking» approach, combining the traditional aspects of personal banking advice with state-of-the-art digital solutions. The service and its centerpiece, the CIC eLounge, are available as desktop and mobile versions for smartphones and tablets, according to the bank.

«It is precisely this combination that makes all the difference,» says Thomas Mueller, CEO of Bank CIC (Switzerland). «Despite all the advantages of digital banking, there are situations when you're glad to have an advisor available in person, offering quick help and clarifying the most important questions,» he added.
