One of the world's leading procurement companies has hired a versatile board member who is also very familiar with the financial sector. 

Michèle F. Sutter-Ruedisser joined the board of directors of Swiss service and procurement company Chain IQ, according to the company's website. Sutter-Ruedisser is a proven financial expert who is an independent member of the supervisory boards of Erste Group Bank (Vienna), Helsana (Duebendorf near Zurich), and Graubuendner Kantonalbank (Chur).

Her main occupation is director of the Institute of Finance, Tax Law and Law & Economics (IFF-HSG) and Associate Professor for 'Organizational Control and Governance at the University of St. Gallen. She is also a long-time Visiting Professor of 'Governance for Banking and Insurance at the School of Management of the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan. Her research focuses on corporate governance, board governance, and organizational control.

She also has professional experience in auditing and management consulting at Ernst & Young AG, in banking and finance, and the hotel industry.
