Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) has hired a six-strong wealth management team from Credit Suisse.

Geneva-based private bank UBP recruits six financial professionals to work in wealth management in Switzerland. Three client advisors, two wealth advisors, and one senior assistant joined at the beginning of the month, UBP confirmed in response to a query from finews.com and first reported by «Citywire».

The team joins the family-owned banking group from Credit Suisse and is led by Christian Boissonnard who reports to Nicolas de Picciotto, head of the Switzerland and Western Europe market.

Boissonnard previously served as a managing director at the bank in Geneva and held senior positions at Invesco, Banque Heritage, and NBF International (National Bank of Canada). UBP didn't provide further details. However, former Credit Suisse banker Alexander Qaqaya announced on Linkedin he's joining UBP alongside Boissonnard.

Also joining from the UBS-acquired institution are Damien BouvardJean-Charles CrouzetLéopold Robert and David Lanzilao.
