The Bank Council of Zuercher Kantonalbank will have three new members come January.

Zurich's Cantonal Council elected new members to the Bank Council and the Bank Executive Committee of Zuercher Kantonalbank. They are Gregor KreuzerHans-Ueli Vogt, and Claudia Zimmermann, according to a media release on Monday.

They assume office in January, replacing Anita SiggPeter Ruff, and Stefan Wirth, who are stepping down from the Bank Council at the end of the year, having reached the twelve-year term limit.

Concentrated Knowledge

The current members of the Bank Presidium and the Bank Council were re-elected for the remainder of the 2023 to 2027 term. The composition of the Bank Council is based on the strength of the parliamentary groups in the Cantonal Council.

Kreuzer is a co-founder and board member of qashqade, a company specializing in financial mathematical software for fund managers, institutional investors, and auditors. He was a member of the Zurich Cantonal Council from 2021 to 2023 and a member of the Executive Board and the Board of Directors of GLP Kanton Zuerich.

Vogt is a full professor of private and commercial law at the University of Zurich, specializing in corporate law for listed companies and corporate governance. He also works as an independent lawyer in an advisory and expert capacity for companies, boards of directors, and private individuals. He was a member of the National Council from 2015 to 2021. As a member of its Legal Commission, he played a key role in revising the Stock Corporation Act in 2020.

Zimmermann, a business economist, is the founder and managing director of C-Advisory GmbH. She has many years of management and professional experience in international companies in the fields of ICT, private equity, financial and strategy consulting, and industry. She contributes as a board member of Swiss SMEs in international cooperation, energy, and real estate.
