She was with Credit Suisse for nearly two decades and co-founded the Credit Suisse Black Professionals Network in Switzerland. Now she's taking over as head of Investment Solutions at Luxembourg-based bank BIL Suisse.

BIL Suisse appoints Maryann Umoren Selfe as head of investment solutions starting in November, finews.com has learned. She'll oversee the bank's investment activities, including all discretionary and advisory mandates, reporting to CEO Hans-Peter Borgh, a spokesperson confirmed.

She has over 20 years of experience in private banking and wealth management products and solutions. Umoren Selfe joins from Credit Suisse, where she led client-facing investment and advisory teams, developed product offerings for a broad range of clients, and expanded client relationships by providing investment insights and expert advice.

New Five-Year Strategic Plan

A diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) advocate, she co-founded the Credit Suisse Black Professionals Network in Switzerland and serves on the board of directors and investment committees of several international foundations. 

BIL Suisse initiated a new five-year strategic plan to make it stronger and more competitive for years to come. The bank is focusing on its investment solutions to continue to deliver services to its private, entrepreneurial, and corporate clients.
