As part of its expansion plan, the Zurich-based wealth advisor Zwei Wealth hires another financial expert. This one brings UN peacekeeping experience.

Zwei Wealth brings aboard Lisa Kaufmann Cicala as a new partner and wealth officer to oversee client mandates and train for a senior role at the firm, according to a statement Tuesday.

Kaufmann's career path has been a varied one to date. After a banking apprenticeship at Regiobank Solothurn, she worked at various financial institutions and asset managers in Zurich. She then accepted an offer for a peace mission with the UN and the Swiss Confederation in the West African country of Namibia. Following that, she joined Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC) as an auditor, subsequently moving to Zuercher Kantonalbank as a fund manager. During time off for family and caretaking,  she trained as an analyst for alternative investments.

In welcoming her to the firm, CEO Patrick Mueller said that «Lisa Kaufmann Cicala has everything it takes to be a Wealth Officer. Her motivated and success-oriented way of approaching new things quickly convinced us.»

More Expansion Planned

According to Zwei Wealth, demand for independent consulting services continues to grow strongly. To take advantage of that the financial startup, co-founded by ex-UBS chief economist Klaus Wellershoff, plans to expand its advisor base by another 20 experts this year.
