The global quantitive and systematic investment manager, Qube Research & Technologies, has named Manuele de Gennaro as its new head of sales Switzerland. According to LinkedIn, he assumed the position in Zurich this July.

De Gennaro was most recently the head of sales Switzerland at Man Group, where he was succeeded by Joerg Zimmermann last month. He was also a board member at the Trustees of the Vita Invest Collective Pension Fund at Zurich Insurance, a role he also departed in June.

Big Name in Swiss Asset Management

However, De Gennaro is best known in the Swiss financial industry for serving as CEO of M&G Investments Switzerland from 2018 to 2021. He spent the two previous years as the firm’s head of institutional business development.

Earlier in his career, De Gennaro was a senior relationship manager for institutional clients at Credit Suisse in Zurich. He was also the bank’s head investment advisory Europe and Switzerland via the bank’s Clariden Leu merger. De Gennaro also had a brief stint as a senior business development manager at Aberdeen Asset Management.
